Our advisory board is complemented by our user group whose membership is reflective of our entire client base. The user group works with CampusIT to drive tactical product development and enhancements. It meets bi annually to review, discuss and debate product direction and roadmap priorities.

The user group forum also facilitates our “special interest groups” where we bring together clients, professional bodies, industry associations and statutory bodies to ensure our solutions not only address the burning needs of our clients but the requirements of other key stakeholders such as HESA, SLC and UCAS.

In 2009 our special interest groups have included:

• HESA Special Interest Group
  • A collaborative group comprised of HESA representatives, University clients and CampusIT professionals. The working party created and designed a module for the QuercusPlus student experience management solution that fully addresses the statutory reporting needs of HESA in a manner that is efficient, effective and robust for clients.

• Admissions Plus Special Interest Group
  • Working with UCAS and representatives from our client base the Admissions Plus special interest group created and implemented new product functionality that utilizes business rules, logic and workflow to automate and streamline many of the arduous and time sensitive processes involved in direct and indirect admissions.
• Student Loans Company Special Interest Group
  • Working with clients and representatives from the Student Loans Company this special interest group will focus on streamlining and automating the information flow between universities and the Student Loans Company.
